Network devices such as switches, routers, firewall and access points have to be destroyed properly, because the network information contained in these devices could otherwise fall into the wrong hands.

Two good ways to destroy data network devices such as switches, routers, access points and firewalls:
- Collection service: We collect them from your premises and destroy the Cisco equipment and other network devices at our warehouse. Read all about our data destruction collection service here.
- We come to your premises with our mobile shredding truck. Then we take delivery of your depleted Network devices and disassemble them. That is; we remove the circuit boards from the housing. Then, under your watchful eye, the circuit boards go into the shredder.
As this is a rather labour-intensive job, the cost is higher. - We can also buy up Cisco or other network equipment, in which case it must be at least 10 devices and younger than 5 years old. Click here to read all about buying up Cisco. When we buy up network equipment, we perform certified data-wipe on the equipment. This overwrites all data and IP settings and returns them to factory settings.
After we’ve destroyed data on network devices, recovering data is absolutely impossible.
Within 5 days of our visit, we will provide you with full documentation proving that the network equipment has been destroyed. This means, a 500,000 euro liability statement per occurrence, a registration of the Cisco’s or other network devices a data destruction certificate. This set of documents is accepted by auditors of all ISO standards. Want to know what this costs? Click here for pricing.
