Data destruction – How does it work?
Step 1: Make an appointment Click “Make an appointment” and select “Data destruction”
Step 2: On location or pickup service Choose on-site destruction or our pickup service
Step 3: What do you want destroyed? Enter what you want destroyed.
Step 4: Schedule an appointment Make an appointment and you will receive a confirmation email with a date.
Step 5: Transport On the appointment date, our drivers will come by.
Step 6: Certification Within 5 business days, you will receive an email with the list of serial numbers and the data destruction certificate.
Secure data destruction options
Shred data carriers at your premises
Our shredder truck will be parked as close as possible to your building. You show us what has to go, and hand over data carriers to our drivers. Any hard drives still in computers will be removed immediately on the spot. Then all hard drives and other data carriers are shredded in our shredder truck; and you’re welcome to watch it happening. The barcode of each hard drive is registered before shredding.
Data carrier shredding in our workshop
We’ll come to your location and put your hard drives in specially sealed containers. We then shred the hard drives with our static hard drive shredder in our workshop. Read more about our collection service here.
You give our drivers the data carriers. Everything is registered in our workshop in Uden, then immediately shredded. The data carriers are shredded in our workshop with our static hard drive shredder. If your hard drives are still installed in computer equipment, we’ll remove them for you without charge. We also take all your computer waste with us, free.
After shredding, you receive a set of documents from us, including a signed list with serial numbers and a Certificate of Data Destruction. This set of documents is guaranteed auditor-proof.
