Data destruction – How does it work?
Step 1: Make an appointment Click “Make an appointment” and select “Data destruction”
Step 2: On location or pickup service Choose on-site destruction or our pickup service
Step 3: What do you want destroyed? Enter what you want destroyed.
Step 4: Schedule an appointment Make an appointment and you will receive a confirmation email with a date.
Step 5: Transport On the appointment date, our drivers will come by.
Step 6: Certification Within 5 business days, you will receive an email with the list of serial numbers and the data destruction certificate.
Shred CDs: at your site or we take them away with us
- On site: for absolute security, we can destroy your CDs at your doorstep. With our mobile hard disk shredder, we grind your tapes into unrecognisable pieces smaller than 9 millimetres in seconds! We do this under your watchful eye;
- Collect and destruct later: we can also collect your CDs. They are then transported in specially sealed containers. Later, your CDs and DVDs are destroyed in our secure premises in Uden using our fixed shredder.
In all cases, you will receive a complete set of documents proving that the DVDs and CDs have been destroyed as they should be, which places liability on IT recycling. IT recycling holds itself responsible for 500,000€ per incident for every data destruction, without small print. We are covered by our insurer with this. The certification you get with CD destruction is accepted by auditors of all ISO standards, controlling bodies and legal departments.
