You always receive complete documentation if your hard drives and other data carriers are shredded. Each certificate has a unique serial number. The documents you receive from us are GDPR-proof, tested and approved for ISO 27001 – 14001 and 9001 audits.
A number of our customers have had an audit carried out by independent auditors, who have unanimously concluded that our entire hard drive shredding procedure is sound and complete.

- A Certificate of Data Destruction. This states how many data carriers have been destroyed, and according to what standards. Our mobile hard drive shredder exceeds DMS standard C and DIN 66399 H5;
- An environmental certificate. This is proof that waste has been disposed of correctly. We work in accordance with WEEELABEX and ISO 14001. We possess an environmental permit, an LMA registration and a VIHB registration.
Our data destruction process falls within our scope for ISO 9001-14001 and WEEELABEX, and is audited annually by an independent auditor.
Sustainability
We’re the stewards of our planet. We are simply borrowing Earth from our children, so we have to treat it with care. Sustainability is therefore a top priority for IT-recycling. All the materials that we pass on for recycling are processed in the Netherlands by WEEELABEX-certified companies.
We provide a European environmental document for every load of computer waste. On request, we can provide you with a full downstream report on every load of computer waste. IT-recycling is accountable for where and how materials are processed at any given time.
IT-recycling explicitly refrains from exporting waste.
