Comprehensive documentation with destruction of hard disks and other data carriers
When you hire us to destroy hard disks and other data carriers, you will always receive a comprehensive set of documents. The certificates each have a unique serial number. The set of documents you receive from IT-recycling have been checked, tested and approved by ISO 27001 audits. Furthermore, a number of our clients commissioned an audit of our operations by independent auditors. Unanimously, they came to the conclusion that our entire operation of data destruction is a solid and conclusive system.
With each destruction of hard disks and other data carriers you will receive the following from us:
- A list of serial numbers of the hard disks.
- A statement determining the liability for leaking of information. We accept liability up to an amount of 500.000 € per event. This is covered by our insurer.
- A data destruction certificate. It indicates how many data carriers were destroyed and according to which standards. The mobile hard disk shredder easily complies with DMS standard C and DIN 66399 H5.
- An environmental certificate. This is the confirmation that shows that the waste substances have been disposed of correctly. We operate according to WEEELABEX and ISO14001 standards, carry an environmental permit, LMA registration and VIHB registration.
Our data destruction process falls within our scope for ISO 9001 -14001 and WEEELABEX and is checked once a year by an independent auditor.
Sustainability:
We are the stewards of the earth; we are merely borrowing the planet from our children, which is why we should not treat it with disregard. IT-recycling is committed to sustainability. All materials we outsource for recycling are exclusively checked and processed in the Netherlands. This is exclusively done by WEEELABEX certified companies.
We provide a European environmental document with each load of computer waste. Upon request we can present you with a comprehensive downstream report of each load of computer waste. IT-recycling can be held accountable on the whereabouts of materials as well as on the way they have been processed at any time.
IT-recycling is explicitly not involved in the export of waste substances.
